Further
details have been revealed regarding Coldplay’s ‘End of Decade Clearout
Sale’ to raise money for the KIDS COMPANY charity.
Coldplay announced earlier this month, their plans to give fans the
chance to bid on a number of instruments, costumes, props and
memorabilia spanning the last 10years of the band.
The charity auction will commence today (December 18th) on eBay.
Included in the sale are singer Chris Martin’s first ever guitar
complete with his name inscribed in Tippex! The guitar featured on the
band’s first album ‘Parachutes’ and was used by Chris Martin to write
many of Coldplay’s early songs.
Also featuring in the sale are costumes and clothing worn by the band
on the ‘Viva La Vida’ world tour, plus many unique items from the
band’s history including the globe used on the cover of their debut
album.
The band are also offering some smaller less expensive items in the
sale, such as a collection of signed lithographs which are up for
auction at £10 each. These will be sold on a first-come first-basis.
The charity auction will run until December 31st, giving fans plenty of
